The Sample Room is an excellent place for just that: samples! We enjoyed a whiskey flight and a rye flight, but the menu had so many other options of spirits, wine, and a full bar. We didn’t try food this time, but we would definitely come back!
Service was spot on. Beef tartar was meh. It was an uncooked, sloppy Joe. Sometimes , we try to hard and mess up a good classic dish. Brussels, dill pickle wings, and shrimp n grits were delicious. It's obvious that creative culinary talent does exist. The pot au cream dessert was nicely balanced with the sea salt whipped cream. Keep up the great work. We will return.
I love everything about The Sample Room! It is the place I go for every occasion - for a night with friends, a date, brunch with family, the list goes on! The staff are absolutely amazing! Every single employee is kind, caring, and fun! Such great storytellers too. I love the creativity of the menu and all of the flavor possibilities you can experience from brunch to dinner. But of course, the real star of the show is the food. From the appetizers to the entrees and desserts, I particularly recommend trying the steak and eggs, which was one of the best things I've tasted in a long time.

Wonderful first time experience. The food, service and atmosphere was perfect. Quick bite to eat and a cocktail on their beautiful patio was perfect for an afternoon break.
I’m visiting the city and went with my friend who lives here and had been wanting to come to this restaurant for years. The menu is small but the options are interesting. We tried frog legs for the first time, and although we didn’t love them, it’s probably just because now we know we don’t like the taste of frog.
But my friend loved their Rueben and I absolutely loved the veggie sandwich. The fries were so delicious and the ketchup tasted different to me but very good.
We snuck in on a friday night without a reservation and had to be in and out in 45 minutes. Our server was super accommodating, made us feel very welcomed, and got us everything we wanted in that time. Been here several times and the service is always on point and the food delicious!
My husband and I love this place! Great atmosphere, staff and the food is always delicious - our families favorite is the Cuban.
